Project Manager – National Grid Substation Project

12-Month Contract

We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background to join a major National Grid substation project based in Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure scheme with a secured 12 months of work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee delivery of M&E packages on National Grid substation works
* Manage programme, subcontractors, health & safety, and client coordination
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
* Lead site meetings and liaise with engineering and commercial teams
* Drive progress and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager on substation, energy, utilities, or heavy infrastructure projects
* Strong Mechanical & Electrical background essential
* National Grid experience highly desirable
* SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant industry qualifications
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to manage fast-paced project environments
