Sellick Partnership are looking to appoint an Interim Project Manager for a Local Authority in the East of England.
Job Purpose:
Developing the overarching programme of commercial projects
To take responsibility for the development and delivery of specific projects Main responsibilities for the Project Manager:
To develop initial, broad concepts for transformation and change opportunities into viable, deliverable projects
To take day to day responsibility for the delivery of specific projects
To develop, implement and assure the processes necessary for sound governance and programme management of the Council's transformation agenda
To prepare information, reports and correspondence on behalf of the Senior Responsible Officers on matters relating to the commercial developments programme
To support day to day the Head of Performance and Strategic Development on taking forward projects across the Council
To liaise with the other senior officers within and outside the directorate and with partners
Provide full project support including setting up and maintaining project files
To ensure that all relevant policies of the Council are properly implemented at all times Person Specification for the Project Manager:
Strong Project Management experience
The ability to prepare business cases
Strong stakeholder engagement skills
