Project Manager – Passive Fire Protection

Fire Doors, Fire Stopping & Fire Safety Works

Full-time | Permanent

London & South East England | Hybrid Working

£40,000 – £50,000 + Company Vehicle + Benefits

Project Manager job covering London and the South East – overseeing the operational delivery of passive fire protection contracts across residential and social housing properties, offering the opportunity to join an established contractor specialising in fire safety, building maintenance and refurbishment works.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager, Site Manager or Contracts Supervisor to join a leading contractor delivering passive fire protection works across residential and social housing properties throughout London and the South East.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of two passive fire protection contracts, overseeing fire door installation and maintenance, fire stopping and associated remedial works.

The position will involve managing operatives, technicians and supervisors, coordinating works programmes, maintaining progress trackers and spreadsheets, and ensuring regular communication with clients and key stakeholders.

Reporting directly to a Senior Project Manager, this is a predominantly operational role rather than a commercially focused position, with responsibility for ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality and compliance standards.

This role would suit a highly organised, proactive individual with experience in passive fire protection who enjoys managing people, coordinating works and maintaining strong client relationships. It could also offer an excellent progression opportunity for an experienced Passive Fire Supervisor or Site Manager looking to step into project management.
