The Project
As a highly experienced Project Manager, you will be overseeing various aspects on a New Build DVSA Building, situated in Scotch Corner, North Yorkshire. Your responsibilities will range from initial scoping and stakeholder engagement to coordinating design and construction phases, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, managing budgets and resources, mitigating risks, and maintaining transparent communication with stakeholders.

SMSTS
CSCS Black Card
First AidIt is also essential that you hold the experience below;
Extensive history of operating on NEC contracts
Strong background with a proven track record of operating as a Project Manager on various new build projects, working with leading construction contractorsAdditional skills;

Effective time management
Quality & Risk management
Superb negotiation capabilities
Knowledgeable of construction laws and regulations
Thorough understanding of contract terms and conditions
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail

Reporting to: Operations ManagerDuties
Ordering materials
Maintaining quality control checks
Conducting quality and safety inspections
Monitoring and control of sub-contractors
Reporting on project progress to senior managers
Signing off and handing completed work over to the client
Ensuring work is finished to an exceptionally high standard
Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
Estimate and allocate the financial resources needed for the project
Produce reports on the project's progress, challenges, and overall performance
Managing health and safety throughout the site including site safety inspections
Create and maintain a project schedule, including deadlines and key milestones
Keep stakeholders regularly informed by providing updates on the project's status
Monitor the project's progress against the timeline and make adjustments as necessary
Planning and overall control of all site operations to ensure that the project targets are achieved
Overseeing and managing project schedules and budgets to ensure work is completed on time
Determine the required resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
