This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take a leading role on a £12m+ CAT B commercial office fit-out in Central London, working alongside an experienced project team and some of the industry's leading consultants and supply chain partners.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong track record of delivering major commercial office fit-out projects to take ownership of a £12m+ CAT B fit-out in Central London.

Reporting into the senior project leadership team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the project from pre-construction through to completion and handover. You will lead the project team, manage key stakeholders and subcontractors, and ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

This role would suit an ambitious Project Manager who is looking to take responsibility for a significant Central London project with a leading design & build contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of a £12m+ CAT B commercial office fit-out in Central London.

Lead and coordinate the project team throughout pre-construction, construction, commissioning and handover.

Develop and manage the project programme, ensuring key milestones and completion dates are achieved.

Manage site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and specialist contractors to ensure effective project delivery.

Work closely with the design team to manage design development, technical coordination, procurement and construction information.

Take responsibility for project quality, ensuring works are delivered to the required specification and company standards.

Monitor and manage project costs, variations, procurement and commercial risks in conjunction with the commercial team.

Identify and proactively manage project risks, constraints and potential delays.

Maintain strong relationships with the client, consultants, design team and wider project stakeholders.

Chair and contribute to project meetings, progress reviews and design coordination meetings.

Ensure the project is delivered in accordance with all relevant health & safety legislation, CDM requirements and company procedures.

Drive a positive health, safety and quality culture across the project.

Manage the commissioning, snagging and handover process through to successful completion.

Resolve issues proactively and provide effective solutions to maintain programme and client satisfaction.

Ensure clear and consistent communication across all project stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for an established Project Manager with significant experience delivering commercial office CAT B fit-out projects, ideally within a leading design & build contractor.

You will have:

Proven experience delivering £10m+ commercial office fit-out projects, ideally including projects of £12m+ in value.

Strong experience working within the Central London commercial fit-out market.

A strong understanding of CAT B workplace fit-out, including complex MEP, finishes, bespoke joinery and specialist installations.

Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage project teams, subcontractors and consultants effectively.

Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.

Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of project budgets, variations, procurement and risk.

Excellent knowledge of construction programmes, design coordination and project delivery processes.

A proactive and solutions-focused approach to project management.

Strong organisational, communication and negotiation skills.

A relevant construction qualification or equivalent industry experience.

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications are desirable.
