Description:

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a highly respected building contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality industrial and commercial developments across the Northwest.

Due to continued growth and a healthy order book, they are looking to appoint a Project Manager to lead the delivery of an £8 million new build industrial scheme from site commencement through to successful completion.

This is a key appointment for a driven construction professional with a proven track record of successfully delivering industrial projects for a main contractor.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, ensuring it is completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with the client, consultants and site team, you will lead the project from inception through to handover, ensuring effective coordination of all parties involved.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for the client, leading progress meetings and maintaining excellent working relationships throughout the project.
Manage the design process, coordinating consultants and ensuring information is issued in line with the construction programme.
Develop, monitor and drive the project programme, proactively identifying and resolving any issues that could impact key milestones.
Lead and support the site team, providing direction to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality project delivery.
Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring works are completed in accordance with programme, specification and contractual requirements.
Monitor project budgets, identify commercial risks and opportunities, and work closely with the commercial team to maximise project performance.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality standards, promoting best practice across the project.
Produce accurate progress reports and communicate project performance to senior management and the client.
Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the project.Requirements

Previous experience as a Project Manager working for a main contractor.
Proven experience delivering new build industrial projects is essential.
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
Experience coordinating design teams throughout the construction process.
Excellent programming and project planning abilities.
Commercial awareness with the ability to manage project risks effectively.
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.What's on Offer
