Project Manager - Civil Engineering & Infrastructure

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering a broad portfolio of infrastructure projects across Scotland. This is an exciting opportunity for an established Project Manager, or an ambitious Site Manager, Site Agent or Construction Manager looking to step into a project management position with greater responsibility and long-term career progression.

Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you'll play a key role in delivering a variety of civil engineering and infrastructure schemes.

The Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects from pre-construction through to successful completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with commercial, operational and technical teams, you will coordinate resources, manage subcontractors, maintain strong client relationships and ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual requirements.
Projects include a varied mix of highways, infrastructure, drainage, structures and general civil engineering works.

Key Responsibilities
·Manage projects from planning through to completion.
·Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and project resources.
·Monitor project programmes, budgets and commercial performance.
·Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
·Work closely with commercial teams on valuations, variations and cost reporting.
·Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
·Ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with company standards.
·Provide regular project updates and progress reports to senior management.

About You

You'll ideally have:
·Experience delivering civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
·A strong understanding of NEC contracts or similar forms of contract.
·Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple workstreams.
·Good commercial awareness with the ability to manage programme, cost and quality.
·Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
·A Civil Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience is desirable.
·Full UK Driving Licence.
Experience working on highways, infrastructure, utilities, local authority or wider civil engineering projects would be advantageous.
