Fixed-Term Contract (12 Months)

Our client is a leading construction and facilities management contractor with an established reputation for delivering high-quality building, refurbishment and maintenance projects across Scotland. Due to the award of a significant insurance reinstatement scheme in Glasgow, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to take full responsibility for the delivery of a £3 million project. The successful candidate will oversee the project from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring programme, budget, quality and safety objectives are achieved while maintaining strong client relationships throughout the delivery process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the successful delivery of a £3m insurance reinstatement project in Glasgow.
- Manage project planning, programming and resource allocation.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
- Ensure works are delivered safely and in compliance with all relevant legislation and company procedures.
- Monitor project costs, variations and commercial performance in conjunction with the commercial team.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, consultants, insurers and other key stakeholders.
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation measures where required.
- Ensure quality standards are achieved and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce progress reports and attend client and project meetings.
- Oversee project completion, snagging and final handover.

Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering construction, refurbishment or insurance reinstatement projects as a Project Manager.
- Strong understanding of construction delivery, contract administration and project controls.
- Experience managing projects valued between £1m and £10m.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice.
- Strong commercial awareness and cost management capability.
- SMSTS and CSCS certification.
