Description:

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of construction projects from initial design handover through to completion. Based in Coventry, with regular site visits, you will oversee programme management, compliance, quality, health and safety, stakeholder engagement and operational delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Our client, based in Coventry, is a specialist construction and project delivery business operating within the built environment, real estate and property. Delivering projects that combine offsite manufacturing with onsite construction activities, the business offers a varied and challenging environment where project professionals can make a tangible impact on project outcomes and operational performance.

Description

The Project Manager will:

Manage the full project lifecycle from design handover to final completion.
Develop, maintain and monitor project programmes, milestones and KPIs.
Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers and external stakeholders.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Manage site operations in line with CDM regulations, health and safety legislation and company procedures.
Chair project meetings, record actions and monitor progress against agreed deliverables.
Conduct regular site visits, ensuring the smooth and compliant running of projects.
Oversee procurement activities and supply chain engagement to support project delivery.
Identify project risks, communicate potential delays and implement mitigation plans.
Produce regular project reports for senior management on programme, cost and performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project and operational activities.Profile

A successful Project Manager should have:

Proven project management experience within construction, manufacturing, modular construction or a related environment.
Minimum three years' experience managing projects from inception through to completion.
Strong understanding of programme management, project controls and budget oversight.
Experience managing subcontractors, supply chains and multiple stakeholder groups.
Knowledge of CDM regulations, health and safety requirements and quality management processes.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
IOSH, NEBOSH, CSCS Gold Card or similar industry qualifications would be advantageous.
Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
Proactive, methodical and solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
