With established delivery teams already in place, you'll be able to focus on leading projects, developing client relationships and driving successful project outcomes.

Why This Role?

* Secure workload through a 12-year Northumbrian Water framework.

* Long-term career stability with a strong AMP8 pipeline.

* Diverse portfolio of reactive, rehabilitation and capital investment projects.

* Established operational teams and delivery gangs already in place.

* Opportunity to build long-term relationships with one of the UK's leading water utilities.

The Role

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects across the AMP8 programme, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing projects from award through to completion.

* Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.

* Leading programme delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and commercially.

* Managing project budgets, forecasts and resource planning.

* Coordinating operational teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners.

* Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

* Building strong relationships with Northumbrian Water and internal delivery teams.

* Identifying project risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.

* Providing regular progress and commercial updates to senior management.

What We're Looking For

* Proven experience delivering civil engineering, utilities, water or wastewater projects.

* Previous experience as a Project Manager within infrastructure or utilities.

* Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.

* Excellent planning, organisational and leadership abilities.

* Commercial awareness with the ability to manage project performance.

* Experience working under NEC forms of contract is advantageous.

* Full UK driving licence.

What's on Offer

* Competitive salary, dependent on project experience.

* Car allowance and comprehensive benefits package.

* Pension scheme.

* Private healthcare.

* Life assurance.

* Long-term career progression within a growing operational division.

* Exposure to a wide variety of AMP8 water and wastewater projects.

* The opportunity to join an established team with the resources already in place to deliver successfully.

This role will suit an experienced Project Manager who enjoys building strong client relationships, leading operational delivery and wants to be part of a business with genuine long-term security through one of the UK's most significant infrastructure investment programmes.

Candidates should be comfortable travelling across the North East, with periods of site-based working depending on project requirements.
