Description:

Are you a highly skilled Project Manager looking to join a reputable civil engineering and groundworks contractor? Do you have experience in drainage and sewer systems? Based in Wickford, Essex, this role requires managing the relining of sewer pipes across East Anglia and the southeast, with project values ranging from £20K to £250K. Can you oversee six to eight projects concurrently, working with prominent water utility companies like Southern Water and Anglian Water, as well as other commercial clients? If so, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

* Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee projects from the initial design phase through to completion, ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget.

* RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements): Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive RAMS for each project to ensure safety and compliance.

* Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure project specifications and standards are being met.

* Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

* Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize productivity and cost-effectiveness.

* Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to industry regulations and client specifications.

* Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve project-related issues to minimize delays and disruptions.

* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients.

Experience and Qualifications

* Project Management: Proven experience in managing civil engineering projects, particularly in drainage and sewer systems.

* Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of drainage and sewer relining techniques and best practices.

* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.

* Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.

* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.

* Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, project management, or a related field are highly desirable.
