Job Description: 

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our rapidly expanding Project Management Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of electronic/software projects for Motorsport and Automotive markets.

The Role: 

Provide strong input into project tendering and estimating. · Create and monitor project plans.

Manage and plan project change requests.

Facilitate/chair project status reviews.

Facilitate/chair technical project meetings.

Identify & manage project risks and issues.

Communicate project status to stake holders and project portfolio board.

Manage key stakeholder and client relationships.

Manage key suppliers, including contracts and negotiations.

Act as a primary point of contact for project teams and stakeholders.

Ensure compliance to both client & company procedures and specifications.

Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.

Support the Company’s compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice.

Candidate Profile:

Ideally Degree qualified in electronics/software engineering (or equivalent), with a successful track record managing electronic/software engineering projects.

A formal project management qualification, such as APM/PRINCE2 is preferred.

Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors.

Experience/knowledge of the project management aspects of ASPICE.

Able to apply project management techniques to support both waterfall and agile development methodologies.

IT Literate and fully proficient using Microsoft Office and Sharepoint.

Proficient user of Microsoft Project for planning, budgeting and reporting
