I'm working with an established London fit-out contractor looking to bring an experienced Project Manager into its growing delivery team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, forward-thinking business delivering a varied portfolio of Cat A and Cat B commercial fit-out projects, from smaller, fast-track schemes through to larger, more complex refurbishments.
 
The business has a strong pipeline of work and is looking for someone who knows fit-out inside out, enjoys the challenge of juggling programmes and trades, and takes real pride in delivering a quality job.
 
The Opportunity
You'll be taking ownership of commercial fit-out projects, typically valued up to £5m, with exposure to larger schemes depending on your experience. This is a hands-on delivery role where you'll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-construction and mobilisation through to practical completion and handover.
 
Key responsibilities include:

Managing Cat A and Cat B commercial fit-out projects from start to finish.
Taking ownership of programmes, budgets, quality, health & safety and overall project delivery.
Coordinating subcontractors, consultants and internal delivery teams.
Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact throughout the project.
Working closely with design, commercial and pre-construction teams to ensure a smooth transition into delivery.
Identifying potential issues early and keeping projects on programme.
Overseeing snagging, commissioning and successful handover. About You
We're keen to speak with experienced Project Managers who have a solid background in commercial office fit-out, ideally with a design & build contractor.
 
You'll ideally bring:

Proven experience delivering Cat A and Cat B commercial fit-out projects.
A strong understanding of fast-track fit-out programmes and the challenges that come with them.
Experience managing projects independently, ideally up to £2m or above.
The ability to manage clients, subcontractors and project teams confidently.
Good technical knowledge, commercial awareness and strong organisational skills.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to take ownership.
A personable, down-to-earth attitude and the ability to build strong working relationships. We're open-minded on backgrounds and career paths. What matters most is your fit-out experience, ability to deliver and the attitude you bring to the team.
