Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a background in surveying for our operations in the Bristol area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project planning, logistics management, and leading teams across multiple packages. They will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects within established timelines and budgets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.

Coordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and milestones.

Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.

Logistics Management:

Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for project execution.

Coordinate transportation, storage, and distribution of resources to project sites.

Optimize logistical processes to improve efficiency and minimize costs.

Package Management:

Manage multiple project packages concurrently, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.

Monitor progress of individual packages and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.

Staff Supervision:

Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals.

Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and facilitate professional development opportunities.

Stakeholder Communication:

Requirements:

Strong understanding of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
