Salary: £51,392 - £63,047(London weighted salary, dependent on experience)

Grade: 09

Reporting Office: London, Stratford

Persona: Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

Ready to shape places that change lives? Join L&Q's Development & Regeneration team and play a pivotal role in delivering transformative housing and regeneration projects that create thriving communities across London and the South East.
As Project Manager, you'll manage the bidding for joint venture regeneration projects and lead the delivery of schemes across our portfolio, acting as L&Q's client for all affordable homes and for any plant, assets and associated areas coming into our management and maintenance responsibility.
With a growing pipeline of diverse development and regeneration schemes, we need an experienced Project Manager to coordinate stakeholders, manage risk and drive delivery outcomes across the programme.
You'll report to the Head of Development & Regeneration, sitting within our Growth & Sales team in the Property & Investment Directorate. If this sounds like you, we would love for you to apply!

Your impact in the role:
Support the Head of Development & Regeneration in delivering the overall programme, ensuring individual workstreams are effectively planned, managed and aligned to the agreed strategic framework
Project manage your own schemes, and assist with the day to day delivery of complex joint venture projects, monitoring progress on site to keep delivery on time and on budget
Work alongside our Asset and Legal teams, and the Head of Development & Regeneration, to shape L&Q's approach to the legal and financial implications of exiting long leases
Lead the effective handover of units to the client, and ensure assets are onboarded to the organisation in line with client requirements
Develop, maintain and influence relationships with local authorities, planning authorities, landowners, house builders, agents, contractors and consultants
Ensure all activities deliver best value, supporting the delivery of high quality schemes on time and within budget
Work closely with our Asset, Communities, Sales, Housing and Neighbourhoods, and Direct Maintenance teams
Through effective project management, stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation, you'll help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and within budget What you'll bring:

We're looking for:
A proven aptitude for project management within the built environment or housing sector
Some financial and commercial acumen, along with associated risk management skills
Excellent presentation and networking skills
Demonstrable collaboration, stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills
Strong project co-ordination skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including report writing
Computer literacy, with a good proven competency in MS Office
The ability to manage simple business systems, such as databases
Desirable: professional qualifications such as MRICS or MCIOB, or equivalent experience
Desirable: an understanding of identifying and exercising control over risk
