About the opportunity

The Project Manager position is a key leadership role to ensure first-class, customer-focused Project Management, either on specific large projects or across smaller project activities. In comparison to a Hyde Key Account Manager, the Project Manager has a greater focus on ensuring projects are discharged following robust, proven project management principles. Alongside this is a requirement to promote and develop these principles within the organisation. It is largely a customer-facing role and the ability to communicate very effectively to develop the relationship, engender trust and provide confidence in the Hyde business is essential.

You will be expected to build and maintain a high level of Hyde and client knowledge, often with a technical slant. You will need to be able to convey this information with confidence and authority. It is essential to have a strong desire to develop your skills and learn about new areas, to maintain and enhance the customer relationship. A proactive approach will be essential, not least in seeking advice from others and learning from other members of the Hyde team.

Main Responsibilities:

* Project Management of major project activities:

* Initiation

* Planning

* Execution

* Monitoring

* Formation and management of project teams as required

* Highly effective proactive Risk & Opportunity Management

* Manage the relationship with customer(s)

* Effective management of stakeholders à Internal & External

* Resolve project issues and escalations

* Development and driving of PM best practice, using formal Hyde tools, processes and documents
