Project Manager – Managed Services / IT
Bristol or Wales
Permanent | Full-time

We are recruiting for an established and growing Managed Services Provider based in Bristol, supporting a diverse range of clients across sectors including transport, logistics and retail.

They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their services team and take ownership of the delivery of complex IT and service-based projects from initial planning through to successful completion.

This is a senior, hands-on Project Management role that will suit someone who is comfortable managing multiple workstreams, engaging directly with customers and senior stakeholders, and driving projects forward in a fast-paced services environment.

The role

You will be responsible for:

*

Managing projects from initial scope and planning through to delivery and closure.

*

Defining project objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources and dependencies.

*

Leading cross-functional teams including technical engineers, service teams and account management.

*

Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.

*

Managing risks, issues and changes, ensuring projects remain on track and within budget.

*

Providing regular project reporting, updates and governance to internal and external stakeholders.

*

Managing complex or multi-workstream programmes and associated dependencies.

*

Building strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, including Director and C-suite level contacts.

*

Supporting and mentoring more junior Project Managers and Project Coordinators.

*

Identifying opportunities to improve project delivery processes, tools and methodologies.

*

Supporting pre-sales activity, project scoping and proposals for complex customer requirements.

*

Working closely with senior leadership on major customer projects and project board meetings.

*

Identifying potential opportunities to expand existing client relationships through additional services and solutions.

What we're looking for

You will ideally have:

*

At least 2 years' proven experience successfully delivering complex projects or programmes.

*

Experience within IT, Managed Services, Technology Services or a similar environment.

*

Strong client and stakeholder management skills.

*

Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.

*

Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.

*

The ability to take full ownership of projects and drive delivery.

*

Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of budgets, resources and project priorities.

*

Confidence working with technical teams and senior customer stakeholders.

*

A proactive approach to risk management and problem solving.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing technology services business where you will have genuine ownership of major customer projects and the opportunity to influence how projects are delivered across the organisation
