HOURS: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with up to 20 hours overtime
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is seeking a Project Manager to provide end to end project management for their clients. This position is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who was worked within the shop-fitting industry on-site and now seeking the next step in their career.
The Opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful family-run business; with their head office based in Leicestershire and refurbishments taking place across the UK, you will work a 40-hour basic week with overtime required at times. Our client pride themselves on their ability to deliver quick turnover refurbishment of retail units; as Project Manager you will deliver an end-to-end management service for clients from site surveys and quotations to snag management.
Role profile:
* Act as Account Manager for clients
* Deliver agreed project, technical and financial targets, on budget and on time
* Carry out on-site surveys
* Prepare quotations for projects in line with client requirements
* Manage timelines, quality and costs
* Attend meetings before works start to finalise details
* Procurement duties and cost negotiations
* Take responsibility for site logistics and coordination
* Implement site health and safety
* Site completion handovers
* Various other duties as and when required
Person profile:
* Previous experience working in shopfitting environment
* Previous experience as a Site Manager
* Previous experience as a Project Manager preferred
* Strong customer service and account management skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings
* Able to travel and work away frequently
* Happy to work occasional weekends when required
