Project Manager – £10M Industrial Steel Frame Project
Location: Andover, Hampshire
Duration: 40 weeks
Contract: Freelance / Fixed-term
We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a £10M steel-frame industrial project in Andover, with a programme of approximately 40 weeks.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced construction professional who has a proven track record of delivering projects of a similar value and complexity and is looking to take ownership of a significant industrial scheme.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the project from commencement through to completion, ensuring the works are delivered safely, on programme, to budget and to the required quality standards.
You will take overall responsibility for coordinating the project team, subcontractors, consultants and client, while managing programme, commercial performance, quality, health & safety and project reporting.
About You
To be considered for this position, you must have previous experience delivering industrial units or similar industrial/warehouse projects.
We are specifically looking for a Project Manager with:
* Proven experience delivering £10M+ construction projects, or projects of a similar value.
* A strong background in industrial, warehouse, logistics or distribution-centre construction.
* Previous experience delivering steel-frame buildings.
* A proven track record of managing projects from start to completion.
* Strong programme, subcontractor and stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to work closely with the commercial team.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Relevant construction qualifications, with SMSTS and First Aid expected.
Industrial unit experience is essential. Candidates without relevant industrial/warehouse project experience will not be considered.
