Project Manager
Remote
Outside IR35
5 Months Contract 

The ideal candidate will have experience working within the NHS/ GP Systems 

The post holder will:

- Develop robust monitoring and action planning processes to support the Assistant Director IT and Digital in managing the Digital programme.
- Manage and provide specialist advice to a team of staff.
- Lead responsibilities within their specific area of expertise.

Key Relationships:
The post holder will work with:

- Executive Directors
- Primary Care team
- Senior Managers
- Other NHS organisations
- Private sector training bodies

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the GP IT Futures programme to align primary care with NHS goals.
- Engage senior managers and consultants on service development and change issues.
- Present complex information accurately using advanced presentation skills.
- Support clinical and non-clinical teams through change processes.
- Respond to public and external inquiries as the main contact for GP practices.
- Analyze complex data to develop new solutions and identify service improvement opportunities.
- Lead and coordinate complex activities and deliver training programmes.
- Contribute to strategic project and programme management.

Responsibilities
Policy/Service Development:
- Lead and adjust programme plans for service improvement.
- Promote best practices and deliver the NHS Digital vision for GP IT.

Financial and Physical Resources:
- Plan and monitor programme budgets, ensuring balanced budget delivery.

Human Resources:
- Manage staff performance and development.
- Oversee the GP IT Facilitator team, focusing on data quality and training.

Information Resources:
- Determine resources needed for scaling up programmes.
- Introduce technology systems to support primary care improvements.
- Keep the Programme Board updated with progress reports.

Research and Development:
- Implement monitoring and evaluation tools for Digital effectiveness.
- Provide intelligence on Digital activities and research advice.

Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong project and programme management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and develop innovative solutions.
- Experience in managing budgets and resources.
- Leadership and team management experience
