Description:
REED Engineering are delighted to be working closely with a well-established manufacturing business with exciting expansion plans in the North-East. The client is seeking to employ an experienced Project Manager on a permanent basis to join the growing team based in the Stockton-on-Tees area.
As Project Manager, some of your key duties will include:
Working with wider functions to support Project activities, tenders and quotes as necessary.
Manage the processes of the project life cycle from initial hand over to close out.
Ensuring all communications support the project, including action trackers, minutes of meetings and documentation control.
Manage all aspects of project performance.
Ensuring the final deliverable is complete to customer specification, and accompanied with the list of customer documentation.
Understanding and setting out the project deliverables for both internal and external stakeholders, including progress meetings with customers and internal project reviews.
Understanding and setting up project budgets, feeding into ERP system, invoice control and cash flow reporting.
Maintaining accurate project reports and robust margin control.
Ensuring milestones / invoices are submitted timely and with the appropriate documentation.
Working with the business to ensure that correct resources and suppliers are "On-board" to ensure delivery, within the necessary budgets and quality requirements.
Commercial understanding and execution of projects to the best advantage of the business.The ideal candidate will have/be:
HNC (or higher) qualified or equivalent.
Formal Project Management qualification is desirable, but not required to apply.
