About the Company

Our client is a leading specialist contractor operating within the water and wastewater sector, delivering protective coating solutions, water tank lining systems, corrosion protection, surface preparation, refurbishment, and asset maintenance services throughout the UK.

The business works on a variety of critical infrastructure assets including steel, concrete, and GRP water storage tanks, helping clients extend asset life, maintain compliance, and improve long-term performance. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their team based in Swindon.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple coating, refurbishment, and water infrastructure projects across the UK. You will oversee projects from initial planning through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple projects from contract award through to completion.

Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives.

Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, budget, and client expectations.

Monitor project performance and provide regular progress reports.

Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Manage project documentation, procurement, and resource planning.

Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Attend site visits and project meetings across the UK as required.

Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Project Manager within construction, industrial coatings, water, utilities, civils, or infrastructure sectors.

Strong organisational and leadership skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Experience managing project budgets, programmes, and resources.

Good understanding of health and safety legislation.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Water industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
