Reed Recruitment (Southampton branch) are recruiting for a Project Manager for one of the Country's leading privately owned Civil Engineering, Building and Surfacing Contractors.

We are recruiting for an experienced, self-motivated and confident Project Manager to ensure the best utilisation of the workforce ensuring that competence and quality is of a level that meets company standards.

Key Roles and Responsibilities -

Overall responsibility for Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) on the project, including the production of all required documentation.
Manage all site arrangements to ensure that CDM requirements are met within projects.
Possess an excellent level of technical knowledge, understanding, control and responsibility for all civils site activities.
Possess a high level of commercial awareness and demonstrate commercial control by working to the financial targets of each contract to ensure that all costs incurred during the works are in line with the tender budget and allowances.
Full profit and loss responsibility for the project.
Possess a good knowledge of the various conditions of contract utilised within the Civil Engineering industry.
Ensure that the site workforce is competent and maintain the necessary qualifications to meet the Company standards and Client needs.
Compile construction programmes incorporating key project dates and coordinating site activities to ensure these are met.
Represent the Company at post tender, pre-start, progress and account valuation meetings with Clients.
Represent the Company at internal meetings e.g., estimating handover meetings and project cost review meetings.
Develop and maintain client relations on projects.
Hold a full UK driving license
