Construction Manager x 2 | Nr Windsor | Freelance | 16 months
Start November 2026
I'm recruiting two Construction Managers for a major £25m hotel refurbishment and wider estate improvement programme near Windsor.
Both roles sit within a strong site team, with two other construction managers overseeing other areas, reporting through a Senior PM and Project Director, with Site Supervisors supporting delivery.
These are proper delivery roles — owning your section of the job, managing subcontractors, programme, quality, logistics and all the usual things that were apparently "sorted yesterday".
Construction Manager No.3 – Civils & External Works
You'll be looking after:
• Car parks
• Site-wide civils
• Underground services
• Landscaping
• Walled Garden & Pool
• Glass House
• Tennis, Padel and Pickleball areas
A strong background in civils, infrastructure and external works is the obvious fit here.
Construction Manager No.4 – Estate Buildings & Leisure
You'll take responsibility for:
• Lodge & Garage
• Gatehouse
• Pontoons & Docks
• Gym Tent
• Lazy River
• Teeny Tent & Play Area
A genuinely varied package. Not many Construction Manager adverts can include pontoons and a lazy river without making it up...
For both positions, you'll need strong main contractor experience, good programme and subcontractor management, and the ability to take ownership and keep things moving.
If your version of construction management is walking around site asking "we still good for Friday?" every couple of hours, this probably isn't the one.
