Description:

Zapsa LTD are a specialist Talent Acquisition Consultancy working in the Renewable Energy, Environmental, IT, and Sustainability sectors. Our client is a vertically integrated renewable energy company with offices across the country. They have picked up a significant amount of projects in the coming months and are looking an experienced Project Manager on a temp-perm basis.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a background in civil engineering and solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the planning, implementation, and execution of civil and solar projects from inception to completion. The Project Manager will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

* Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

* Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.

* Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate civil and solar components seamlessly.

Budgeting and Cost Management:

* Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.

* Monitor project expenditures and provide timely reports to stakeholders.

* Implement cost-control measures to stay within budget constraints.

Risk Management:

* Identify potential risks and challenges associated with civil and solar projects.

* Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

* Proactively address issues to prevent delays or cost overruns.

Quality Assurance:

* Implement and enforce quality control standards for civil and solar installations.

* Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and industry standards.

* Work closely with quality assurance teams to address and resolve any issues.

Team Leadership:

* Lead cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction and support.

* Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

* Conduct regular team meetings to assess progress and address challenges.

Client Communication:

* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of project status.

* Address client concerns and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

* Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed expectations.

Regulatory Compliance:

* Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards in the civil and solar energy sectors.

* Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

* Proven experience managing civil engineering and solar projects.

* Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and solar energy systems.

* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.

* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

* Proficient in project management tools and software
