Job Title: Project Manager – FTC 12 months
Location: North West
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance (pro-rata)
The Company:
Our client is a market leading 3PL providing a range of logistics services across the UK.
We are recruiting for a Project Manager to support a site relocation programme and provide support to other key projects across the business. This is an initial 12-months contract and is likely to be extended in-line with the programme of works.
The Role:
The purpose of the role is to lead various projects across the business, collate information & financial data, and apply project management methodology to keep projects on track and within budgets. As a skilled communicator, you will collaborate with different departments to ensure all stakeholders have visibility of where a project is in the development process and are clear on their objectives, ensuring projects are completed on time.
Additional responsibilities include:
Create and maintain project management plans, including setting deadlines, prioritising tasks, and assigning resources as required.
Analysing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
Reporting on financials, budgets, and project progress to the Board of Directors.
Oversee the development and delivery of each the project ensuring successful completion of workflows and activities.
Managing risk; produce management reports/KPIs/statistics on a regular basis to identify risk and monitor success and maintain the company reputation/brand. Experience required:
We are looking for somebody with good knowledge of the logistics industry and is a qualified Project Manager or PMO.
You will need to be comfortable with financial reporting, analysing data, document control, and reporting at board level.
Experience of managing multiple projects at the same time.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
The Package:
Salary of £45,000 - £50,000 pro-rata, Car Allowance.
Strong potential for the role to extended following the initial 12-months period.
