White Label is hiring a Project Manager for an established engineering business in Barnsley.
This role would suit a technical minded Project Manager wanting to be involved in large-scale engineering projects.
My client is offering a salary of £55,000 - £60,000 plus:
* 33 days holiday (including stats)
* £5,000/year car allowance
* 37-hour work week with 1 PM finish on Friday

Responsibilities of the Project Manager
* Manage the full project lifecycle for complex mechanical engineering projects.
* Take ownership of client liaison from initial brief through to project delivery, ensuring expectations are clearly defined and met.
* Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, tracking progress and controlling costs to meet contractual and commercial targets.
* Coordinate manufacturing, site installation, and commissioning activities — ensuring work is delivered safely on time, and to a high standard.
* Lead project meetings and produce regular progress reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
* Work closely with in-house engineering, production, and site teams to resolve issues quickly and keep the programme on track.
* Support tendering and business development by contributing technical input and programme details to bids.
Experience required of the Project Manager
* A proven track record of managing complex mechanical engineering projects.
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar) preferred. HNC/HND qualified candidates also considered.
* Experience in medium-heavy engineering would be desirable.
