Project Manager – Industrial Refrigeration / Process Cooling
Location: North/ Midlands – National Coverage
Salary: £65K-£80K + Bonus, Car/ Allowance, 26 Hols, Medical
Project Manager required to work with a specialist manufacturer and contractor within industrial refrigeration, process cooling/heating or ammonia based refrigeration systems.
We’re looking for a proactive, customer-focused professional who can hit the ground running, deliver and take ownership of multiple high-value projects from £500K to £3M across food & beverage processing, chemical, and pharmaceutical environments from handover to commissioning.
Key responsibilities:

Taking full ownership of projects from handover to completion, ensuring delivery on time, on budget and to specification.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing clear communication and regular progress updates.

Maintaining a strong site presence to monitor progress, resolve technical or coordination issues, and ensure project compliance.

Managing project documentation, compliance, and QA to reduce risks and ensure smooth handover to the client.
*
Coordinating internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.
You should have:
*
Proven experience delivering industrial refrigeration or process cooling projects (experience with ammonia or other natural refrigerants is a strong advantage).
*
A solid understanding of compliance, documentation, and safety requirements for industrial refrigeration systems.
*
Strong communication and relationship-building skills – able to work closely with clients, suppliers, and site teams.
*
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and make sound project decisions
