* 6-month OUTSIDE IR35 project manager contract role to support new projects.

* Work from home available 3-4 days per week.

* E&I, Electrical & Instrumentation, PLCs, Automation, Control Systems technology focus.

* Global engineering business operating within the gas transmission and distribution industry.

The Project Manager job will suit:

* A Project Manager or Engineering Manager or an Electrical Engineer / Control Systems Engineer / Electrical & Instrumentation / E&I / Systems Engineer with a project management or project delivery background.

* You will have a proven track record of working closely with engineering teams to drive projects to a successful conclusion, ensuring projects are delivered against project cost, engineering, and timing objectives.

* Experience of any of the following technology areas is preferred, E&I, electrical and instrumentation, PLC control systems, automation systems, SCADA systems.

This Project Manager job will involve:

* Managing and successfully delivering E&I / electrical and instrumentation or similar engineering projects to final customer handover.

* Client and internal stakeholder communication to drive the project forward.

* Identification of project hazards and risks.

* Role may involve some infrequent travel to customer and supplier sites (UK & Ireland based) when appropriate.
