I am currently recruiting for an exciting Project Manager position with a well-established client based in Swansea.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a team of Project Managers and Support staff, working on multiple projects at any one time, taking the process through from beginning until completion.

This role is based in the office in Swansea, in a collaborative environment with the Project Management team, with travel to sites.

You will be responsible for liaising with clients and other construction professionals, managing schedules to deliver the projects on time in budget to the highest customer satisfaction. You will oversee the site workforce, planning and delivery of plant and materials by providing:

Detailed Work Programme and scope of work
Predicted resources needed
Obtaining necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites
Plant and Materials Requisitions
Regular liaison with Site Managers and site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues
Supporting the site progress and critical path of each project
Ensuring work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety rules/regulations
Coordination between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors
Ensure that all works and snagging are completed within the agreed timescales
As-Built / O&M manuals within the agreed timeframes
Contribute to post-contract review with respect to all relevant project information (PCD's, Change Logs and Programme revisions)
Provide high-quality photographs throughout the project
Input/update P&E log
Compile, submit and negotiate the agreement of the final account

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

Degree in Construction Management, or similar/relevant qualification
Experience of construction project management
Demonstrated knowledge of constructions and civil engineering principles
Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate and control costs
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office 365 packages and a developed understanding of construction industry software packages
A team-oriented individual that contributes at an operational level
A high regard for Health and Safety

This role would be best suited to you if you are experienced in working on projects that cover all aspects of a project such as groundworks/civils, carpentry/shop fitting, managing programmes and sub-contractors.
