Description:

Project Manager required for a main contractor specialising in civil engineering

Client: SSEN – Distribution Network Operator (DNO)

Scope of works:

Replacing power lines

The framework agreement for 4 GSP (Grid Supply Points)

Melksham -

Mannington

Chickerell

Axminster

Broad project locations:

Bournemouth

Christchurch

Wareham

Poole

Chippenham

Currently between the four areas they have around 85 live projects in Stage B (Detailed Design) and Stage C (Construction)

Requirements:
7+ years of experience in construction, engineering, and/or project management
Minimum 3 years in project management
BS Degree preferred (Engineering, Business, or Construction Management) - Desirable
HS Diploma required - Desirable

Primavera P6 knowledge/understanding

SSEN Authorisations would also be desirable

OSHA and construction safety familiarity
Strong budgeting, scheduling, contract negotiation, and leadership skills

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-impact utility projects with a leading power generation environment
