Description:

Project Manager – Mixed-Use Development

We are recruiting on behalf of an established main contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major mixed-use development from the reinforced concrete frame stage through to completion and handover.

The Project Manager will take overall responsibility for the safe, timely and commercially successful delivery of the scheme. This includes managing the envelope, internal fit-out, MEP installation, testing and commissioning, external works, client inspections and final handover.

Key responsibilities:

* Lead the project from the RC-frame stage through to practical completion.

* Manage site teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.

* Develop and maintain the construction programme, identifying and resolving potential delays.

* Coordinate structural, architectural and MEP packages.

* Ensure work is delivered safely and to the required quality standards.

* Chair progress, design and subcontractor meetings.

* Work closely with the commercial team to manage costs, variations and procurement.

* Maintain clear communication with the client and wider project stakeholders.

* Oversee inspections, snagging, commissioning, building-control approvals and handover documentation.

* Drive completion of the project in accordance with programme, budget and contractual requirements.

The successful candidate will have:

* Proven experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor.

* A strong track record of delivering large mixed-use, residential or commercial developments.

* Experience taking an RC-frame project through envelope, fit-out, MEP and handover.

* Excellent programming, coordination and subcontractor-management skills.

* Strong knowledge of construction processes, health and safety, quality control and building regulations.

* The ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and maintain effective client relationships.

* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.

* A construction-related degree or professional qualification would be advantageous.

This is an excellent opportunity to take full ownership of a significant mixed-use scheme and join a respected main contractor with a strong project pipeline
