Project Manager - Fire & Security (Technical Background Required)
£45,000 | Manchester | Full-Time, Permanent
We are recruiting for a technically strong Project Manager with a background in fire & security systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior engineer ready to step into a leadership and delivery-focused role.
The position will involve overseeing small to medium commercial projects, pricing works, supporting tenders, and developing relationships with local business clients (local, regional focus).
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of fire & security installation projects
Prepare quotations, costings, and tender submissions
Support and develop local business relationships and repeat clients
Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and project timelines
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Provide technical input across system design and specification
What we're looking for
Strong background in fire & security engineering (senior level ideal)
Experience in estimating, quoting, or tendering work
Good commercial awareness and client-facing ability
Organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple projects
Based in or around Manchester
