Description:
Project Manager
Up to £55k, Derby area, hybrid working,
Project Manager with confident experience in leading large-scale complex engineering and construction projects required for a permanent position in Derbyshire.
You will be familiar with handling full projects from conception to installation ensuring that they are delivered on time, to cost, and to a high quality to meet client specifications.
As the project Manager you will:
Manage full M & E projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget to ensure profitability
Work alongside procurement, engineering, and estimation to ensure project quality and value
Assist the sales team in the production of tenders
Ensure projects are planned effectively and delivered to client requirements
Maintain effective communication of documents, schedules, and changes across the project team
Undertake progress meetings with customers and internal project reviews,
Define and manage program of works
Risk management and reporting
Implementing changes and improvements
Raise delays and potential problems and changes to the team
Ensure each project stage meets client specifications before moving to the next phase
Anticipate potential problems and mitigate them where possible
As the Project Manager you will:
Hold a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification to HND level or above
Have achieved a formal qualification in project management -APMP or Prince 2
Ability to lead M & E and construction teams on-site
Confident understanding of design, manufacturing engineering processes
Have confident commercial awareness and be confident analysing and reporting on financial
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent understanding of CDM Regulations
Have worked with project planning software previously
Hold a full clean driving licence37.5 hours Monday - Friday (phone number removed)pm
