Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Project Manager on a 6 Month Rolling Contract, based in Wiltshire
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a high voltage underground cable installation programme as part of a major electricity transmission infrastructure project. The role encompasses full project lifecycle responsibility, from mobilisation through to completion, across civil and electrical scopes of work.
Key Responsibilities
* The Project Manager will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of HV cable-pulling operations and associated civil works, including ducting installation.
* You will manage subcontractors, coordinate with the client and supply chain, and ensure programme, cost, and quality targets are met throughout.
* Specific responsibilities include overseeing site management activities, maintaining compliance with SMS/TS requirements, coordinating cable delivery schedules, and ensuring the project is delivered in line with the contract programme and budget.
Requirements
* Candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong background in both civils and HV cabling disciplines, with proven experience managing cable installation projects on high voltage transmission or distribution infrastructure.
* Experience with SMS/TS documentation and cable delivery logistics is essential.
* A track record of managing projects of comparable scope and value within the utilities or T&D sectors is required.
