Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, SC-cleared Project Manager with a background in Naval, Maritime, or Military environments. You will play a pivotal role in assisting clients to enhance their cyber risk mitigation capabilities. This involves managing and delivering discrete projects, offering strategic guidance, and promoting a culture of cybersecurity awareness and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
* Support delivery through project management for cyber risk mitigation projects, collaborating with federated teams on discrete initiatives.
* Manage the Cyber Risk Kanban, determining task priorities, ownership, and efficient plan management.
* Chair Kanban reviews and oversee requirements for CDIO briefings.
* Provide oversight of key objectives and activities delivered by junior colleagues.
* Address DLODs to deliver capabilities into service.
* Digitize risk metrics and processes using automation tools.
* Ensure traceability of activities within the client’s framework.
* Support cybersecurity audits and interpret data from culture surveys, communicating key messages to clients and stakeholders.
* Offer strategic guidance and recommendations on cyber risk mitigation performance metrics to senior leadership.
Experience you will need to have to be successful:
* Understanding of Cyber Risk and project management within Naval or Maritime sectors.
* Proficiency in risk management tools or software.
* Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
* Proven track record as a project manager working with specialists to deliver risk mitigations.
* Experience managing activities from identification to recommendations, securing additional resources as necessary.
* Ability to prioritize work effectively for oneself and others in line with client needs.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse and senior stakeholders.
* Passion for continuous learning and professional development in cybersecurity and project management.
Nice to have, but not essential
* Degree in Risk Management, Project Management, or a related field.
* Professional certifications such as APMG Agile Project Management, Scrum Master, APMQ, PRINCE2, or similar.
* Around 3 years in Defence Cyber Security projects with Naval HQs
