Project Management Office (PMO) Executive

Hours: 30 hours per week Monday to Friday, (Apply online only) with a one hour unpaid lunch
Salary: £32.69 per hour
Duration: Until Friday, 20 December 2024
Start Date: Requires 10 business days for IT setup

Overview: A dynamic organization seeks an experienced PMO Executive to manage and oversee a range of projects. This role requires a seasoned professional adept at supervising project management staff and ensuring project success.

Person Specifications:

Significant experience in project management and oversight
Proficiency in MS365 and other administrative software such as Smartsheet
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong financial control and risk management capabilities
Ability to guide group decisions aligning with organizational goals
Independent worker and effective team player
Innovative approach to business delivery solutions
Ability to work under challenging conditions
Extensive experience in resource planning and analytical skills
Effective problem-solving abilities Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute projects in line with client expectations, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning deliverables to team members
Collaborate with leadership and departmental heads to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
Track and report on project progress to meet performance objectives and stakeholder expectations
Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance against service level agreements, and maintain budgetary control
Create and maintain RAID (Risk, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) logs, supporting issue resolution
Facilitate effective project meetings as required
Maintain clear communication regarding project status with all stakeholders
Allocate project resources effectively across teams and stakeholders
Provide problem-solving and conflict resolution when necessary
Ensure smooth project activity flow and effective working relationships for timely project completion
Work closely with the Account Management team and other key personnel to achieve KPIs
Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
Analyze financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation
Properly assign resources, plan projects, and delegate tasks to team members
Establish project governance structures
