Belcan Workforce Solutions are working with a leading aerospace company in the UK, who is seeking a Procurement Project and Commercial Manager to join their dynamic Wing Aerostructures Work Packages department in Filton.
Please note that this position is fully onsite so being within a commutable distance is essential.
This is a 12-month contract, 35 hours per week offering £28.00 per hour Umbrella. Inside IR35.
Job Scope
As a Procurement Project and Commercial Manager, you will support implementation of Business Transformation Project with target of introducing digital ways of working with major Suppliers.
Project objectives include development, launch, engagement, deployment co-ordination and communications within a Commercial environment. You will be working in a multi-functional team and working co-ordinating with external Suppliers.
Core Responsibilities
Your role as a Procurement Project and Commercial Manager will include managing project activities for Suppliers deployment of the new digital processes and Tools.
You will manage and monitor supplier performance using performance KPIs, dashboard, Project plans and specific action plans resulting from pilots and supplier activities, feedback, gap analyses and assessments. (Project plans management and reporting)
Support and manage project risks and registers.
Facilitate and Participate Supplier pilots / tests, analysis, validation, and drumbeat reviews.
Contribute to the resolution and development of solutions to support and enable supplier deployment.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a background in project planning and an understanding of Logistics flows, ERP and MRP systems.
You must be able to demonstrate experience working in a procurement or supply chain environment. You must be proactive in problem solving, building relationships and have strong negotiation skills.
Travelling to other sites may be required so you will need a driving licence for this position.
You must have worked with ERP and MRP systems within a supply chain environment
Experienced in managing project risks
