We are currently working with a leading social housing contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Project Lead to oversee the delivery of a flagship recladding and building safety scheme in Bristol.

The RoleThis is an outstanding opportunity to take the lead on a £20 million project involving the refurbishment and recladding of three residential tower blocks. The project is currently progressing through the Gateway 2 submission stage, making this an exciting time to join and help shape its successful delivery.

Reporting into the Senior Contracts Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the project, leading delivery with the support of experienced Contracts Managers already in place. This role offers excellent long-term career progression and the opportunity to develop into more senior positions as the business continues to grow.

The scheme includes:

Strip and replacement of External Wall Insulation (EWI)
Installation of new insulated flat roofing systems
Replacement fire doors
Installation of new windows
Additional refurbishment and building safety works across the developmentWorking closely with operational, commercial and client teams, you will provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of a £20m recladding and refurbishment project.
Manage the project through Gateway 2 and subsequent construction phases.
Provide leadership and direction to Contracts Managers and site teams.
Ensure programmes, budgets and quality standards are achieved.
Drive health, safety and compliance across all aspects of delivery.
Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Coordinate with commercial and operational teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Identify and manage project risks while maintaining programme and budget objectives.About You
Proven experience leading large-scale residential refurbishment, recladding or building safety projects.
Strong knowledge of external envelope, EWI, roofing and fire remediation works.
Experience working on projects for local authorities or social housing clients is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Strong understanding of programme management, health & safety and project delivery.
Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.What's on Offer
