Our client, a leading player in the Rail Communications sector, is currently seeking a Contract Project Engineer (Operational Comms) to join their dynamic team. This role involves crucial involvement in key railway communications projects, focusing on delivering effective operational communications solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaising with engineering teams and project management to ensure seamless integration of project activities
Responding to technical and project engineering enquiries both on site and in relation to project documentation
Assisting in the production of engineering and project site solutions
Managing project delivery with a focus on FTN, FTNx, Concentrators, Fibre Copper cabling, and transmission systems
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
Providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
Job Requirements:
Experience in project engineering within the operational communications field
In-depth knowledge of FTN, FTNx, Concentrators, Fibre Copper cabling, and transmission systems
Strong skills in project engineering and technical documentation
Understanding of the railway communications sector
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
