Opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Engineer to join a successful manufacturing business. This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for delivering engineering projects from concept through to commissioning, helping to improve manufacturing performance, efficiency, quality, and safety.
This position would suit a proactive engineer who enjoys managing projects, working with suppliers and contractors, and driving continuous improvement across a manufacturing environment.
The Role
Lead engineering projects from initial concept through to completion.
Produce and interpret CAD drawings and technical documentation.
Specify, procure, install, and commission new manufacturing equipment.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and risk assessments.
Coordinate contractors and suppliers, ensuring work is completed safely and effectively.
Support continuous improvement and manufacturing optimisation initiatives.
Ensure compliance with health & safety and site regulations.
About You
HNC/HND or Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience delivering engineering projects within a manufacturing environment.
Experience introducing and commissioning capital equipment.
Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
Confident managing suppliers, contractors, and key stakeholders.
