PROJECT ENGINEER - ELECTRICAL
FALMER, EAST SUSSEX
Our client is a one of the UK’s leading Principal Contractors, with an outstanding reputation for the successful delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout the UK. Due to substantial project awards within the AMP8 framework, they are growing their team and have an immediate requirement for an Electrical Project Engineer to join their Southern Water delivery team based at offices in Falmer, working on a hybrid basis between the offices and home. The Project Engineer will play a vital role working across the project lifecycle, from design through to commissioning should have an electrical bias.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-established team, delivering largescale, high profile engineering projects within the UK water sector.
What you'll do:
✓ Lead engineering from inception to completion
✓ Manage design, procurement & financial controls
✓ Oversee testing, commissioning & client training
✓ Manage subcontracts, suppliers & site teams
✓ Drive H&S compliance and programme delivery
✓ Develop O&M manuals and as-built documentation
What experience & skills the PE should have:
✓ Electrical ONC/HNC/BEng or NVQ equivalent
✓ Proven Water Industry experience
✓ Commercial & contractual awareness
✓ Proficiency in Microsoft packages incl. Project
✓ Strong communication & stakeholder skills
✓ ATEX experience desirable (not essential)
