Project Engineer

Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join one of our well-established clients in London.

Our client is a leading UK-based contractor specializing in heavy construction, deconstruction, and enabling services

Project Locations: Central London
Rate - £350 - £380 per day (depending upon experience)

Skills & Requirements:

Provide technical support and engineering expertise throughout construction.
Coordinate demolition, temporary works, RC frames, precast, waterproofing, drainage, and core construction activities.
Review drawings, specifications, and technical submissions, resolving site issues efficiently.
Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and in line with design, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Manage RFIs, design coordination, engineering records, and progress reporting.
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
Conduct site inspections and monitor quality, compliance, and construction progress.
Identify project risks and implement practical solutions to minimise delays and costs.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
Experience in demolition, temporary works, RC frame, basement, or major construction projects.
Strong technical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced construction environment.
