If you are a Project Engineer looking for a new opportunity to join an Aberdeen based Oil and Gas company who work on cutting services for an impressive array of clients, we want to hear from you. This opportunity would suit someone at the start of their career who has an Engineering Degree with some working exposure in an Engineering discipline. You will be joining a well-established company who are experts in cutting solutions globally. The purpose of the role is to assist in the smooth engineering operations from FEED to completion of cutting activities, including any engineering design.
Responsibilities:
* Assists for the preparation of Feasibility/FEED Studies, Method Statements, Equipment Manuals and procedures for projects.
* Assists for trial and verification of new tooling design.
* Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
* Participates in quotation process and provides project management information such as schedules and budgets.
* Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
* Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
* Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
* Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
* Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
* Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
* Prepares project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information and trends; recommending actions.
* Maintain project documentation.
Essential:
* Mechanical and electrical principals.
* 3D CAD software experience, e.g. Solidworks, Inventor
