Project Engineer - £45k-£55k – Bedfordshire – Special purpose machinery
Platform Recruitment is collaborating with a leading manufacturer specialising in special purpose machinery. They are seeking a Project Engineer to oversee the entire lifecycle of projects, from initial concept to final commissioning. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a passionate engineer to advance their career by managing diverse and complex R&D projects.
Main Duties:
+ Have ownership of multiple projects at once
+ Organise cross-functional project teams
+ Develop detailed project plans
+ Produce technical documents
+ Track progress of project activities, ensure key development milestones are achieved
+ Stakeholder management
Skills and Experience Required:
+ Strong project management & problem solving skills
+ Have a technical engineering background
+ Previous industry experience in special purpose machinery development
+ Strong communicator
+ Experience in managing new product development projects
The salary will be between £45,000-£55,000 depending on experience. There will also be a generous benefits package available.
