Project Engineer

Our client is a leading contractor in the renewables sector and they are looking to grow their team considerably over the next 12 months due to the amount of new projects and frameworks across the UK. Offering a fantastic environment for an experienced Project Engineer to join their busy team in Hull where you will provide technical support for any up and coming projects throughout the UK.

Job Responsibilities:

* Working closely with clients and overseeing the projects though each stage of the development.

* Although it will be office based there will be flexibility as you would be expected to attend the site throughout the commissioning phase of the project.

* Working with different departments and sub-contractors to ensure that any technical challenges are overcome and should the drawings but altered all parties are working form the latest detailed drawings.

* Liasing closely with the design department and may be required to carry out alterations to Auto CAD Lite drawings.

* Manage the hand over of projects with clients and ensure that all training and instructions have been supplied.

* Assessing any sub-contractors work and producing any method / risk assessments.

Job Requirements:

* HNC / HND Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

* Previous experience within a similar role.

* Experience within the renewables sector would be advantageous but not essential.

* Must have excellent IT and communication skills.

* Own transport and driving licence.

* Must be flexible with working hours when coming to commissioning phases of the projects.
