Up to £95,000 (subject to experience) plus mileage, bonus & package
The Company
Our client is a Principal Contractor within the Commercial Interiors & Office fit out sectors. They are a respected Company who are building themselves an enviable reputation within the construction industry. Having sustained growth over a number of years, they are now in a position to expand their range of regional offices to include Manchester in the North West. In order to support this growth, they are now looking to add an experienced Project Director to join their team in the Manchester area. In this role the individual will be responsible for the development and success of the new office supported by the stronteams in Birmingham, Cambridge and London.
Previous experience of the Fit Out, Refurbishment and Interiors sectors along with Design & Build schemes is essential. Experience of building strong relationships with clients and business development is essential. Previous experience of site syrveying, estimating, tender presentations & interviews, H&S, delivery and project commercial management will also be required for an initial period.

The Project Director Role
As a Project Director you will be responsible for liaising with clients, business development, managing financial issues, preparing estimates, programming, delivery, H&S and preparing and agreeing valuations and finalising sub contract accounts for an initial period to support the growth of the new region. You will then be supported by the Company to grow and develop a successful team including a Project Manager & Commercial Manager.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join a thriving business to support the expansion of the Company within the North West region supported by existing offices in Birmingham, Cambridge and London. You will be responsible for bringing on board clients, both new and existing, with interior fit out schemes within the region and then managing the schemes from "cradle to grave".
Ideally you will have a degree in surveying OR a construction related discipline with at least 5 years of experience within a similar position and industry.
The Project Director Package
On offer is an attractive salary of up to £95k (dependant on experience) plus mileage, expenses and an attractive benefits package which you would expect from a contractor of this size.
