Our client, a prominent organisation within the Defence & Security sector, is searching for an I&FS Project Controller to join their dynamic team on a contract basis. This role, based in Warton, demands a professional with significant experience in project control within the context of infrustructure and facility projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage project progress, ensuring alignment with established timelines and budgets
Provide comprehensive project reporting and updates to stakeholders
Coordinate with various teams to ensure project milestones are met
Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery
Maintain effective communication with project teams and external partners
Facilitate project meetings and produce detailed minutes and action plans
Utilise project management tools and software for tracking and reporting purposes
Job Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Professional, preferably within the Defence & Security sector
Strong ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with project risk assessment and mitigation strategies
Proficiency in using project management tools and software
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Contract Details:
Location: Warton
Duration: 12 months
Working Hours: Standard hours, 3 days a week on-site (generally Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
