Description:

A talented Architect is required for an award-winning, employee-owned architectural practice with an established reputation for delivering large-scale residential, hotel, and student accommodation developments across the UK and Ireland. Working on projects typically valued between £50 million and £150 million+, the practice partners with some of the UK's leading developers and contractors, delivering technically complex and design-led schemes.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Architect with a minimum of 2 years' post-Part III experience looking to develop their career on high-profile projects within a collaborative and forward-thinking practice. Working alongside experienced Associates and Senior Architects, you'll gain exposure to technically challenging developments, take ownership of key project packages, and play an important role in delivering projects through the technical stages. The practice actively encourages employees to contribute new ideas, develop their technical expertise, and progress their careers within a growing, employee-owned business.

Architect Job Overview

Support the technical delivery of large-scale residential, hotel, and student accommodation projects.
Work across key RIBA stages, with a particular focus on Stage 4 technical delivery.
Prepare detailed technical drawing packages using Revit.
Coordinate information with consultants, contractors, and the wider design team.
Ensure projects comply with UK Building Regulations, the Building Safety Act, and relevant industry standards.
Attend client, design team, and site meetings throughout project delivery.
Assist with resolving technical design challenges and coordinating project information.
Contribute to technical innovation and continuous improvement across the practice.

Architect Job Requirements

Qualified Architect with a minimum of 2 years' post-Part III experience.
Strong technical delivery experience, particularly across RIBA Stage 4.
Experience working on residential, hotel, student accommodation, or mixed-use developments.
Proficiency in Revit is highly desirable.
Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations and technical detailing.
Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in developing technical expertise and progressing within the business.
Knowledge of the Building Safety Act, Principal Designer duties, sustainability, or emerging technologies would be advantageous.
