Project Administrator
You will support the Project Director in relation to all activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the company.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Administrator
· Provide support to the Project Director in their daily activities on site and in the office.
· Document Control
- Maintain and organize project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, specifications, and change orders.
- Track project progress and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
· Assisting the Project Design Teams where possible.
· Coordination of diary, meetings and conference calls on behalf of the Project Director .
· Manage in-box and deal with enquiries to support the Project Director.
· Arrange and attend meetings (internal and external) with the Project Director if required, prepare agendas, collate and prepare all paperwork required for the meeting, AED logs(Meeting minutes) and ensure actioned as appropriate.
· Create PDF markups for the project team where required.
· Assist in the preparation of project documentation.
· Information resourcing in support of general business requirements.
· Assist with creating and issuing of Purchase Order Requests (POR’s) to the buying team.
· Draft correspondence, produce all documentation, (letters, e-mails, memos, reports and presentations) on behalf of the Project Director.
· Liaise with clients, suppliers and other staff on behalf of the Project Director.
Skills and Experience Required for the Project Administrator
• Self-motivated and can work unassisted on occasions.
• Good punctuality
• Experience of working within the construction industry (Preferred but not essential).
• Ability to plan and prioritise daily/weekly workload.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• IT literate in Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
Working Conditions:
• The position will require occasional travel to construction sites.
• Ability to work in an office setting with occasional site visits.
• Flexibility to work extended hours to meet project deadlines where required
