We are looking to appoint an experienced Project Administrator to join a dynamic and fast growing contract fit out/construction business based in Bristol.
Key Responsibilities
As a Project Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting a small team of busy Project Managers by handling essential administrative tasks, allowing them to focus on the bigger picture. Your main responsibilities will include:
* Financial Tracking: Working with Excel spreadsheets to monitor financials and extra costs.
* Document Management: Electronic filing of project documents in an orderly manner.
* Form Completion: Handling account application forms and supplier approval forms confidently.
* Ad-Hoc Duties: Assisting with various tasks, including purchasing site equipment, as needed.
* Pre-Construction Support: Preparing contracts, H&S documentation, site management documents, purchase orders, and financial accounting spreadsheets for payment applications.
* Site Support: Assisting Project Managers with site visits and surveys, and noting meeting minutes for proper documentation.
Requirements
Construction Experience: Previous experience in the construction industry is essential.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
Multitasking Abilities: The capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Project/Contracts Experience: Proven experience in project or construction contracts administration.
Health & Safety Knowledge: A good understanding of H&S legislation & paperwork.
Organizational Skills: Strong ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
Self-Motivation: A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a strong work ethic.
Interpersonal Skills: Confidence in communicating with a varied audience, including customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Flexibility and Travel: Willingness to travel to sites on an ad-hoc basis, with a valid driver's license and own vehicle (travel costs will be covered).
Technical Proficiency: Good understanding of Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
